My beautiful wife Laura and I moved into the Golden Hills the summer of 2019 and have been married for 7 years. We are known for the “Halloween House” on Scotland Drive. We have 2 children; Harper Grace Rose that just started 5k at Lexington Elementary this fall, Landon Alan Rose who is in 4k at Harvest Church Preschool and a Brown dog named “Sully”.

I have been in the Mortgage Industry since 2007 and I am currently the Operations Manager for Lending Path Mortgage powered by Delmar Mortgage, based out of St louis, Missouri. We have Branches all over the southeast.

I grew up in Cayce. Where my late Father Alan P Rose Sr. owned/operated the Tremont Hotel that used to be on Knox Abbot Drive in Cayce, near the Congaree River and was one of the founding Board Members for the Riverbanks Zoo.

I atended Cardinal Newman high school from 1991-1995. Upon Graduation from Cardinal Newman, I went on to Francis Marion to play Basketball. After 1 year at Francis Marion, I returned home to attend the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2001.

Once moving back to Columbia in 1996, I worked for the YMCA for 12 years in many different roles, but mainly playing an instrumental role in developing and opening the NorthEast and NorthWest YMCA and Organized all Health & Safety training for the organization.

Over the Years I have been a member of the Lexington Kiwanis Club, the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Served as President of the Summer Swim League 2003-2005, Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Cardinal Newman High School (1996-2012), Assistant Head Coach at Heathwood Hall (2012-2023), and Head Coach of the YMCA Columbia Summer Swim League 1998-2005. In 2021 was awarded one of the top honors in our company. “The Circle of Excellence Award” for my leadership skills.
