    When you work with great people, amazing things can be accomplished. The trust, experience and commitment to excellence that our team has demonstrated all year long have resulted in Americans across the country actualizing their dreams of financing their new homes. Even in a housing market as tumultuous as what we saw in 2022, our team managed to overcome obstacles and deliver on our promise to help our clients. This resilience defines what it means to work at Delmar Mortgage.

    This commitment to standing Right By You remains our steadfast promise to all who work with us and for us to provide the kind of one-on-one service that millions have come to depend on. Keeping our focus on helping homebuyers turn houses into homes is what enables our team to have the success that they have. After all, helping others is a major part of why we do the work that we do!

    Delmar Mortgage was proud to host our top performing loan officers from across the country for the 2022 Pinnacle awards. Over the past year these individuals have worked tirelessly to provide our clients with outstanding levels of customer service and act as a reflection of Delmar’s values within our communities.

    Each of these Loan Officers have substantial experience in helping clients finance the place they’ll call home. In essence, they are the base camp, providing support and resources throughout our clients journey directly through the summit and to the peak – homeownership!

    Prior to the awards we sat down with each Pinnacle recipient to discuss their approach to their business. We also spoke with our leadership team and their friends and families to get to know each recipient on a personal level.

    Chet Hileman – “I’d say one word that best describes me is, ‘motivated.’ To be honest, the closer I got to 40, I didn’t want to have a boss anymore, and I wanted to create something with an atmosphere, energy, and people that I really wanted to work with.”

    Aaron Hempel – “I learned a lot about business from people like my grandfather who owned a dairy farm in Bloomington, Illinois. He was very kind, thoughtful, generous, and intelligent. I thought if I could be just a touch of what he was as a man, that would probably allow me to be successful in my business.”

People get really nervous when they don’t know what’s going on, and this is typically the biggest purchase of their life, one of the bigger stresses in their life, so you definitely gotta keep them in the loop, good, bad, or otherwise.”

    Jason Ashford – “If others had to pick one word to describe me I think they would say persistent. Sometimes it’s trying to find an answer and it might take a few days to do, well instead of just giving up on it and hoping it goes away, I’m usually persistent, I’m trying to find what that answer is.”

He’s got so many people under him and the compliments we get about him day in and day out just really goes to show how much he’s done, how he’s become a fixture here at Delmar, and how proud of him we are.”

They’re doing their day-to-day job, and there are parts of this world that they need a professional’s help with… making great recommendations that match what they’re trying to do with their overall plan and just being honest about whether something is capable or not.”
